| The Twelve Seasons Released |

The latest album on Cornutopia Muisc, The Twelve Seasons has been released. The CD is a mix of instrumental tracks about the seasons of nature. The styles vary from dance trance type tracks to moody atmospheric tracks, but each with a strong sense of feeling and filled with imagery. The Twelve Seasons represents Mark's latest compositional style, with tracks like Waiting For The Rain To End and Growing including complex interweaving melodies that show a stronger classical influence.

The Flatspace Music Pack 2 has been released! The new add-on pack for Flatspace I or Flatspace II contains ten music tracks, some Cornutopia game themes and some new studio tracks. The Flatspace Music Pack 2 is now available on the Flatspace II page of this website. All orders for the music pack placed during December will include a copy of the limited edition game Outliner Arena, a fast paced retro arcade shoot-em-up!!

| Flatspace Music Pack 2 |

A new Flatspace Music Pack will be released in December. The Flatspace Music Pack 2 contains ten tracks, some Cornutopia game themes and some unreleased studio tracks to form a sort of "best of" of Cornutopia music. The Flatspace Music Pack 2 will be sold for £8 or $14 US, with an initial bonus offer. The pack will work with Flatspace and Flatspace II.

Gunstorm II v1.02 has been released. The update includes the enhanced edit of the main theme song by Steven McLachlan, and now features a new demo and registration system. Fans of the music can check out the Gunstorm music video on YouTube.

| The Spiral Staircase Released |

The Spiral Staircase has been released on Cornutopia Music today. The music in The Spiral Staircase is dramatic, and highly rhythmic although there are no percussion instruments. The sound palette consists largely of analogue waves; saw waves, sine waves and filtered white noise. The musical inspiration was mathematical structures, and the shifting chord sequences of baroque classical composers like J.S. Bach, Handel and Vivaldi. Parts of the 2002 version of this album appear in the Flatspace soundtrack. This new 2008 version represents a completely new and extended production of the music.

Our unique sound effect software, SFXEngine, has been updated to v1.10. Now compatible with Windows Vista, the new version also includes a few new features such as the ability to easily store and recall window positions, extra spacing for wide title bars and a new effect engine, a super long, 60 second delay effect.
